In Taiwan, promoting internationalization is an important government policy. Promoting international sports affairs (ISA) has been one of the top priorities as the authorities concerned devoting themselves to promoting sports affairs during the internationalization process. In terms of developing sports industry, the manufacturing and marketing of sports products are crucial to the development of sports organizations. Concomitantly, along with the promotion of sports organizations, the demands for sports products shall raise.
The Graduate Institute of International Sports Affairs (GIISA), established in 2011, aims at recruiting graduate students to help enhance the efficacy of government policy of partaking in international sports affairs, to respond effectively to the trends of implementing ISA organizations, to mend the diplomatic relations mire of sports at the present time, to enhance Taiwan’s international competitiveness in sports, and above all, to upgrade the status of the Republic of China (ROC) in the international community.
